You have to know
much we adore a good love story here at Stardust Celebrations! And between our
three bridal salons and our wedding planning clients, we get to hear a lot of
them! Usually they are between a bride and her groom, but this one is between a
bride and her gown!
Fashion forward
bride Taylor made an appointment during our Lazaro Trunk Show last January. Designer
Lazaro Perez himself attended the trunk show and created a beautiful keepsake sketch
on the spot for each bride who said “yes!” to one of his dresses during the
show.
During her
appointment, one of the first gowns Taylor tried on was the stunning Lazaro 3167 – a gorgeous champagne shredded net bridal gown, featuring a
strapless sweetheart neckline, beaded and embroidered elongated bodice,
embroidered shredded net skirt and cathedral train. Here are a few thoughts
from our fabulous bridal stylist Liz, who was assisting Taylor that fateful
day:
“That gown took
everyone’s breath away when Taylor entered the room. Taylor’s eyes were filled
such excitement I thought she was going to flee in the gown right there and
then.”
Here are a few
photos taken from the amazing experience. There is no doubt that she had found
the gown that she would wear to say “I do!”
Taylor, her mother
and her two sisters really made an impression on Mr. Perez. While he was creating
8.5x11” sketches for brides that weekend, he felt compelled to create a “Texas-sized”
sketch for Taylor. Her family hid the portrait from her until her wedding day,
when they unveiled it to a joyfully tearful Taylor.
We cannot add
