Real Wedding Sneak Peek: Mayard-Steponaitis

Another beautiful, imaginative wedding by StarDust...We love happy wedding planning clients. One of the things that makes us burst with joy is a couple thanking us at the end of their night for how wonderful their wedding was! But when they take time from their honeymoon to send us a love letter, well, that just makes us positively giddy!
The beautiful ceremony in the romantic courtyard.
Andrea and Glenn were married this past Saturday in a gorgeous ceremony and reception at the incomparable Rosewood Crescent. With an A-Team of fabulous wedding vendors such as The Garden Gate, f8, Emerald City and more, we knew the wedding was going to be off-the-charts fantastic! And it was!
Andrea was a Texas Tech Red Raider cheerleader - can you believe they
were able to do this with her in her wedding gown?! It was amazing!
Here's a quick little note Andrea fired off to us just a few days into her married life:

Marsha,

We can't thank you and your staff enough for making our dream wedding fantastic! I am speechless. It was so amazing and so much fun I couldn't stop smiling or dancing. It was so awesome to see that almost everyone was on that dance floor 90% of the time! We have had so many people tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to! What a great compliment. You were so much fun and easy to work with, as well. I am sad I don't get to see you all on a regular basis anymore! Mom and I would love to take you out for drink or dinner after I get back from Maui.

Cheerfully,
Andrea Mayard Steponaitis

And while we wait with baited breath to see the undoubtedly stunning photos from f8, here are some pics to whet your appetite. Thank goodness for iPhones! :)
Gorgeous entry into the courtyard.
Some great memories and details from the big day.
The ballroom was just beautiful - and Emerald City kept the dance floor packed the whole night!
We'll share many more photos and memories from the night as soon as we get them! Congrats, Andrea and Glenn! We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness! Thank you for letting us partner with you on your special day!

Trend Alert: Garlands!

Pretty flowery garlands are all the rage. So are simple garlands made of greenery, for that matter. They're just so lovely and romantic, and they're perfect for a rustic affair. You can use them in many ways, creating a beautiful focal point for your wedding day! Here are some of our favorite uses of beautiful garlands as wedding décor:

Ceremony
A gorgeous birch branch arch accented with a pretty green and white garland.
This very romantic arch makes a perfect frame for a wedding ceremony.

This lovely green garland pops perfect against the white curtain ceremony backdrop.
Garlands can work as well inside a church as they do in the great outdoors.
This beautiful green and dried magnolia leaf garland is just so pretty!
These vertical flower garlands provide a whimsical environment for this outdoor ceremony.

Reception Tables
This lush green and white garland makes quite a statement along the front of the head table.

Another full floral and green garland drawing all guests' eyes to the head table.

This simple green garland sits atop a length of lace, making a fabulous table runner!

This lovely garland is punctuated with oranges, giving the head table a
burst of beautiful contrasting color!
We love this cozy sweetheart table with the beautiful garland coupled with burlap, centered on the table.

Even cake tables enjoy garland love. We adore this cake buffet where the cakes look like they're floating on a garden cloud!

Bride and Groom Chairs
You know how much we adore baby's breath! LOVE these baby's breath garlands on the newlyweds' chairs!

These garlands, rich with flowers, are just stunning on the bride's and groom's chairs.

We like how this garland joins the happy couple's chairs together. Sweet.

These magnolia and hydrangea garlands are fabulous with that orange ribbon!

Other Décor
This barn reception looked so pretty with the beautiful greenery garland draped along the ceiling.

A vibrant, lush flower garland make this chapel door a huge focal point!

Farm and ranch weddings give brides plenty of opportunities to hang garland just about anywhere!

Garland is a lovely way to lead guests into your ceremony space.

A balcony is another perfect place that begs to be accented with garland.

We hope these gorgeous garlands have inspired you! Have fun envisioning all of the beautiful ways you could incorporate greenery or floral garlands into your wedding day design!
