Pantone Announces the Color of the Year for 2015: Marsala

Pantone has announced Marsala as it's Color of the Year for 2015! Marsala, a rich, deep brownish red color, is gorgeous as a main color of your wedding palette or as a pop of color to accent your scheme. Pantone describes it's selection like this: "A naturally robust and earthy wine red, Marsala enriches our minds, bodies and souls." We love this jewel tone and look forward to seeing brides use the hue in their wedding design! Here is a bit of inspiration to get you thinking about this gorgeous color!

Color Splash: Rose Gold

So we started seeing Rose Gold jewelry make a comeback last year, and we knew it was only a matter of time until it started seeping into weddings. The lovely hue has definitely made its mark on weddings over the past several months and all we can say is “WOW!” Radiant, like the sky at sunset, Rose Gold is soft, feminine and romantic – and we absolutely love it!

It’s easy to bring Rose Gold into your weddings by using reddish-goldish shades of blushes, buffs or other natural tones and soft corals. We hope this gorgeous board we pulled together inspires you to consider this beautiful color for your wedding!

Pantone Color of the Year: Radiant Orchid

We were super-excited to hear Pantone announce that their Color of the Year for 2014 is Radiant Orchid! We love all shades of purple - our logo is purple, have you noticed?! - and we have planned many weddings over the past few years featuring purple-centric color palettes.

We love what Pantone has to say about this lovely shade: "Radiant Orchid blooms with confidence and magical warmth that intrigues the eye and sparks the imagination. It is an expressive, creative and embracing purple - one that draws you in with its beguiling charm. A captivating harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones, Radiant Orchid emanates great joy, love and health."

We could not agree more! And with that, we give to you this lovely inspiration board we put together featuring lots of beautiful orchid goodness.

We love the fall and the rich colors that come with it! Inspired by the season's most luscious hues and coordinating shades from Pantone's Fall Color report, we've put together this inspiration board for you. We hope you enjoy the opulent shades of Samba (think cranberry red), Koi (a rich orange or amber hue), Carafe (brown is still hot!) and Lichen Green, which we think marry perfectly for a fabulous fall color palette! We especially love pops of gold accents with these saturated colors! These colors are so big, we are seeing them carry over into winter. The bring so much warmth to these chilly months!
