Trends for Spring 2015 Wedding Gowns, a Recap of 2014 New York Bridal Market

This past weekend's New York Bridal Market was, in a word, fantastic! We are so in love with the newest gowns from all of our favorite designers. These trends are H-O-T and we could not be more excited to share them with you all!

Overall, there seems to be a general theme of sexiness: low necklines, low back, high slits, crop tops, cut outs and illusion lace. It's all enough to get a groom's heart racing! Here are some specifics:

Plunging Necklines
It's a daring, how-low-can-you-go style, meant for the gutsy bride who is not afraid of showing a little décolletage.

Open Backs
Yes. Still. There is something so sensual yet elegant about a women's back, and these gowns highlight them in breathtaking ways.

Color
Color is still very prevalent and not just in pinks and blushes. While we are still noticing soft pinks, we're also seeing more blues and greens, which are just magnificent.

Bold Bling
Designers are incorporating large beads, encrusted jewels and beaded fringe and the effect is bold, confident and daring!

Cutouts and Crop Tops
In keeping with the trend of showing a little more skin, designers are playing peekaboo with cutouts and crop tops.

Short and Sweet
A little more casual and a lot more sassy, shorter gowns are definitely gaining in popularity. And while some brides may not opt for them for their actual ceremony, these short little numbers still make a stylish statement for a get-away or send-off dress!

Long Sleeves
Elegant sleeves are holding strong as a trend. They're especially spectacular in the illusion or lace variety, and these are simply lovely.
