Trends We Love: Metallics

Now that Fall is here, we're starting to dream about the lush colors that come with the lovely season. We're especially crushing on metallics right now, which are just H-O-T! Metallics are super-glam any time of the year, but they do seem to lend themselves particularly to Fall. There are so many opportunities to bring in gold, silver, bronze, pewter and copper...let us count the ways!
Stationery
Your invitation sets the stage for your wedding, giving your guests a glimpse of the style and elements of your wedding. If you're going to incorporate metallic accents into your event, including a little shiny something on your invitation is a great way to give a sneak peek of what's to come. Carry the theme throughout your wedding with all of your stationery, including wedding programs, escort or place cards, table cards, menus and favor tags!

Bridal Gowns
Wedding gowns with lots of accents have been huge for a while now, and we see no sign of that slowing down. In addition to bling, brides love gowns with metallic elements, whether they are gold or silver in tone. Here are some fabulous faves!

Bridesmaid Dresses
Having your 'maids in some pretty metallic hues is a great way to bring in the heavy metal. Whether long or short, elegant or flirty, we think these are beautiful options!

Reception Décor
Your reception is where you can really let your love of metals shine! You can bring in as much or as little metallic accenting as you desire, using elements such as chargers, table card frames, chairs, floral containers, linens, mirrored furniture, cakes and more! Whether you're going gold or silver, shiny or muted, metallics are fabulous way to bring on the glamour!
