Color Splash: Green Inspiration for St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day! We hope you're wearing your green today and encounter a bit of luck on this holiday when everyone seems to claim to be a wee bit Irish.

We love to take in the world around us for inspiration for weddings, and color always plays a big role in wedding design. We're taking a cue from the holiday today and Pantone's naming of Lucite Green and Treetop as some of THE hot colors for Spring 2015; we present you with some lovely past events of our Weddings by StarDust clients featuring various shades of green.

This summertime event featured a lively apple green as a foundation of the color palette. Paired with purple hues, this design was vibrant and fun. (images by f8studio)

This intimate, elegant affair incorporated subtle darker shades of green partnered with white and touches of gold, perfect for a winter wedding. (images by Justin Goode)

StarDust Planners Delight in BONT with City of Lights Inspired Tablescape

Our Weddings by StarDust team had a blast putting together this utterly divine Parisian Fête tablescape for the Spring/Summer 2015 issue of Brides of North Texas.

Our talented designers created a chic tabletop with a feminine edge using bold black and white, softened by lovely pinks and peach. We think the end result has a definite je ne sais quoi - don't you?!

We enjoyed working with a gifted team of vendors to breath life into our romantic vision. Très bien, oui?

Real Wedding: Chelsea and Josh’s Sophisticated Modern Wedding in Downtown Dallas

A few weeks ago, our certified wedding planners kicked off 2015 with a BLING! Chelsea and Josh’s glamorous black and white wedding at The Joule was full of breathtaking details, from the lush floral arrangements and sleek ghost chairs to the dazzling table linens and abundant crystal accents. The couple came to our Weddings by StarDust dream team with a clear vision: a single location for both the ceremony and reception, a black and white color palette with a modern and elegant design, and the reception must be loads of fun! Our talented wedding planners happily took the challenge and delivered - in spades!

The Joule Hotel was selected as the venue and offered the perfect space for the short and sweet but beautiful ceremony on the rooftop terrace.

The celebration moved inside, where the ballroom was simply spectacular.

Guests dined on a mouth-watering surf and turf duo. Later, they enjoyed two fabulous cake creations and were sent home with sweet treats as a thank-you.

Chelsea’s gorgeous Lazaro gown and crystal-edged Toni Federici veil fit perfectly into the bling-centric evening.

Chelsea's bridesmaids' short lacy black Watters dresses reinforced the elegant feel of the wedding, while the gents looked rather dapper in their tuxes.
