StarDust Celebrations has two must-attend trunk shows going on this weekend (October 3-5)! First up, the uber-romantic collection from Claire Pettibone will be featured at the StarDust Bridal Salon.
Claire Pettibone began her love affair with bridal gowns at the age of four, after being mesmerized by a bride walking down the aisle of the historical St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City. Pettibone is known for her unique, vintage-inspired gowns finished with a modern flair. Pettibone’s gorgeous gowns feature signatures such as delicate details, intricate embellishments and their ethereal, feminine feel. The timeless gowns are made of silk, lace, tulle and more and give the bride a feeling of utter glamour and grace on her most special day.
Call or book online ASAP, as most slots are already filled, but we will try to accomodate every bride with her heart set on a fabulous Claire Pettibone gown!
Sister store LuLu's Bridal will be hosting a trunk show for the stunning new collection from David Tutera for Mon Cheri.
David works closely with Mon Cheri designer Martin Thornburg to develop an assortment of fashionable bridal gowns ranging from traditional ball gowns to modern wedding dresses, and couture bridal fashions to more informal wedding designs. David Tutera for Mon Cheri offers today’s stylish brides with high quality fabrics, hand-beaded Swarovski crystals, and impeccable fit at an affordable price.

Breaking News: LuLu’s Bridal is Now Accepting Appointments
We have BIG news for you about
After working on a walk-in basis for more than a decade, we’re thrilled to announce that LuLu’s Bridal is transitioning to an appointment-based bridal boutique!
Brides are now able to schedule an initial bridal
consultation, a follow-up bridal consultation, an accessories/veil appointment
and an appointment to try on a purchased bridal gown after its arrival.
An
initial bridal consultation will be a one-and-a-half-hour personal appointment
with a professional bridal stylist. We could not be more excited, as this will
give each bride a dedicated stylist for an extended time to help her find the
perfect gown.
Brides may book online now or by calling the salon at
214.871.9610. We will still do our best to accommodate walk-in guests but we
highly encourage booking an appointment.
More big LuLu’s news is coming soon, so be sure to check back often!

Trends We Love: Metallics
Now that Fall is here, we're starting to dream about the lush colors that come with the lovely season. We're especially crushing on metallics right now, which are just H-O-T! Metallics are super-glam any time of the year, but they do seem to lend themselves particularly to Fall. There are so many opportunities to bring in gold, silver, bronze, pewter and copper...let us count the ways!
Stationery
Your invitation sets the stage for your wedding, giving your guests a glimpse of the style and elements of your wedding. If you're going to incorporate metallic accents into your event, including a little shiny something on your invitation is a great way to give a sneak peek of what's to come. Carry the theme throughout your wedding with all of your stationery, including wedding programs, escort or place cards, table cards, menus and favor tags!
Bridal Gowns
Wedding gowns with lots of accents have been huge for a while now, and we see no sign of that slowing down. In addition to bling, brides love gowns with metallic elements, whether they are gold or silver in tone. Here are some fabulous faves!
Bridesmaid Dresses
Having your 'maids in some pretty metallic hues is a great way to bring in the heavy metal. Whether long or short, elegant or flirty, we think these are beautiful options!
Reception Décor
Your reception is where you can really let your love of metals shine! You can bring in as much or as little metallic accenting as you desire, using elements such as chargers, table card frames, chairs, floral containers, linens, mirrored furniture, cakes and more! Whether you're going gold or silver, shiny or muted, metallics are fabulous way to bring on the glamour!
Stylish brides, are any of you incorporating metallic in your wedding day design?
