Trends We Love: Linens with Texture or Prints

Fabulous linens as part of your wedding day décor always make a statement. Head, guest and cake tables covered with beautiful linens increase the elegance factor for any style of reception, whether it’s held in a ballroom, outdoors or in a unique venue such as an art gallery. For several years now, brides have finally been recognizing the value of pretty table coverings, incorporating various colors, fabrics and very subtle patterns in their wedding design. But lately, the linens are becoming more than just an interesting canvas for the rest of the design. They are becoming attention-grabbing focal points and we can see why! We absolutely adore the right now trend of textured or boldly patterned linens!

Real Wedding Sneak Peek: Trihn and Jeff

Trihn and Jeff had a lovely traditional ceremony at Holy Trinity Catholic Church followed by a spectacular reception at the Nasher Sculpture Center this weekend! We LOVED planning this gorgeous yellow and gray wedding with this couple. Super-Cute Video of Grooms Describing their Wedding Day

While we work mostly with brides, we do so love our grooms, too!!! And we do get to work with a fair amount of them, especially when we are planning their weddings or styling the gentlemen in the wedding party. And we often get to see a sweet side to these fellas, who are also very excited about their big day. So we had to share this darling video showing men sharing their thoughts on their wedding day. Real Wedding: Dana and James and their Monte Carlo Inspired Soiree

What do you get when you combine an elegant, family-centered ceremony with a glamorous, Monte Carlo style casino reception? An incredible night that this couple, their guests and our planning team will remember for a long time to come!

Fun-loving Dana and light-hearted James came to us with an eclectic wish list, and we had so much fun finding creative ways to weave all of their elements seamlessly together for an amazing wedding.

Dana and James met in Miami and the tropical paradise is so dear to them, they contemplated flying back down for their engagement photos or possibly even marrying there. They instead decided to tie the knot closer to home, but their love of the city did figure prominently in their red-hot cocktail hour which featured a definite Miami-Cuban vibe, complete with a cigar bar.

While the couple wanted a serene, sophisticated ceremony – they even went the unplugged route – they wanted to amp up the reception considerably. Dana’s favorite color is red, which lent itself perfectly to not only the cocktail hour, but also the Monte Carlo-themed reception we planned after the bride asked about somehow incorporating casino tables into the celebration. The result was a fun-packed evening of great music, delicious food, gambling excitement and lots of laughter.
